INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

CAN YOU PRESSURE WASH YOUR HOME AFTER A RHINO SHIELD INSTALLATION?

Yes. It can be pressure washed to remove any loose dirt or dust that may accumulate on walls. We recommend 1,500 psi or less.

Rhino Shield should be applied only to sound, properly prepared wood surfaces. Your applicator will repair or patch wood if possible but with the goal of supporting long-term coating performance. If it is determined any wood must be replaced, the problem areas needing replacement wood should be highlighted and provide a quote for wood replacement as part of the estimation process.

Rhino Shield will naturally fill small stucco cracks (1/16” or smaller) using the two-step process. Larger cracks may require an application of a stucco patch prior to applying the Rhino Shield system. Once applied, Rhino Shield may help reduce visible recurrence of some small cracks, depending on substrate movement and repair quality due to the bonding properties of the adhesive primer and the ceramic finish.
